I know how much you were looking forward to Ben, Tom and Ellie's Proms. We had talked about them so many times over the years and laughed about what an expensive time it would be for us!
Well, you would have been proud of Ellie - she found the most beautiful vintage dress in a deep midnight blue which fitted her like a glove, in the sale! No £300 dress for her! She added gorgeous accessories and her friend Chloe did finger waves in her hair which looked amazing and very vintage too! Ellie did her own make up, which looked like a professional had done it of course! Mind you, she owns about 50 make up brushes now, so we expect perfection!!
The boys looked great too, both in navy suits but Ben with a waistcoat and Tom without, and different coloured ties. They are two very handsome boys if I say so myself and to see them standing there as young men was a very proud moment.
We hosted pre-Prom drinks here for Tom's mates and Andy took Ben to his friend Jacks for theirs. He made it back here after seeing Ben's limo leave to be able to watch Tom and his crew go off in their enormous black stretch Hummer!
The boys went to Lingfield Park Racecourse and Ellie to Fairfield Halls. They all had amazing evenings and we included Geoff too, he came for Pre Prom drinks here and to see the boys. We all missed you so much though Mum, as we knew how much you wanted to be a part of their lives as they grow up into adults. I took lots of photos which I hope you love, and I also got them developed and enlarged to give Nanny Ada loads too! She has them all around her flat!!
